Agents must be producing. Agents are considered producing in their first 6 months at Real. After that, they need to produce $450 in revenue to Real in the prior 6 months to remain in producing status.
1. Purchase stock at a discount with commissions
Agents can have 5% of net commissions paid out in stock. Real will grant 25% worth of additional shares one year after the transaction at no cost to agent. After capping, agents can have 10% of net commissions paid out in stock up to a maximum of $15,000/year. Real will grant 50% worth of shares one year after transaction at no cost to agent.
2. Earn stock by capping and attracting agents
When an agent caps, the agent will be granted shares in stock. When an agent directly attracts another agent to the company, and upon the attracted agent’s completion of the first transaction, the attracting agent will be granted shares in stock. Both will have to remain in good standing throughout the vesting period.
3. Elite Agent stock awards
Agents can earn Elite Agent status if they reach specific production benchmarks. Once you earn this status, you are granted shares in stock and become eligible to earn more shares in stock through different cultural benchmarks.

Once you decide to join Real, click "Contact Us" on our website and fill out the formand let us know you're wanting to join! We will talk with you and, if it's a fit, send you theindependent contractor agreement (ICA) to e-sign.
Once you sign the ICA and resign from your current brokerage, we will walk you throughthe process of transferring your license.

What fees do I pay?

There is no monthly fee or transaction fee before you cap. There is a $149 startup fee and a $500 annual brokerage fee, which is deducted from your first two transactions. You are responsible for joining and paying for your membership to a local board of Realtors and MLS. After you reach your annual cap, you receive 100%commission and pay a $225 per transaction fee for sales or $125 per lease.

How do I earn 100% commission?

For the first $80,000 in total commissions, you earn an 85% split. After that, you earna 100% split for the remainder of the 12-month period based on your starting date.

Provided you have submitted all transaction documents, it is possible to be paid directly at closing by getting a CDA in states where that is permitted. Otherwise, you will be paid as soon as Real receives and processes the commission check from escrow. You will be paid as an independent contractor and will be issued a form 1099 at the end of the year.

What type of license do I need?

A valid real estate salesperson (agent) or broker license is required in one of Real's states. Your license has to be in good standing, and you should have no claims filed against you.

Also, agents can opt to get pre-qualified buyer leads from our partner OpCity. There is no upfront cost, but OpCity takes a 30-35% split on closed transactions generated from the leads, on top of Real's 15%.
